Suitable for use in C1q binding assays, Neutralization, CH50 functional assay. The reported Kd values were 1.28 × 10^-11 M for human C1q and 3.23 × 10^-11 M for mouse C1q. Each laboratory should determine an optimum working titer for use in its particular application. Other applications have not been tested but use in such assays should not necessarily be excluded.

This antibody is suitable for C1q binding assays, Neutralization, and functional assays. The antibody binds C1q with high affinity and neutralizes C1q-dependent classical complement activity. M1 neutralized C1q biological activity in human, mouse, and rat CH50 hemolysis assays. The product is supplied as an IgG1, kappa antibody in liquid format at a lot-specific concentration. The antibody is affinity purified. It is formulated in PBS only. Store at -20°C for long-term storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. The product is shipped on dry ice.
Complement component C1q is the recognition subcomponent of the classical complement pathway and is a multimeric complex composed of C1qA, C1qB, and C1qC chains.
