General Notes
Hi-Puri™ Anti-hepatitis C virus E1 monoclonal antibody, clone IGH526 (Cat. No. CABT-L1966W) is a research antibody reagent directed against Hepatitis C virus envelope glycoprotein E1; HCV E1 antigenic region 314–324; genotype 1a isolate H77. This antibody is suitable for ELISA. It is reported to recognize hepatitis C virus. Direct structural binding was demonstrated using an engineered genotype 1a H77 E1 peptide containing residues 314–324. Binding to native E1E2 and cross-neutralization of HCV pseudoparticles were demonstrated in separate clone-specific experiments. The product is supplied as a IgG antibody in liquid format at a lot-specific concentration and is affinity-purified. It is formulated in PBS only. It is available in 200 μg, 500 μg, 1 mg pack sizes. Store at -20°C; the product is stated to be stable for one year after shipment, and aliquoting is unnecessary for storage at -20°C. It is shipped on dry ice.
