General Notes
This antibody can be used as a IgG reference standard for anti-PEG antibodies. Polyethylene glycol (PEG) is a water-soluble polymer widely used in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical applications. In drug formulations, PEG is used to improve the solubility, stability, and bioavailability of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs). It is also commonly employed in the creation of PEGylated drugs, where PEG molecules are covalently attached to proteins, peptides, or nanoparticles to extend their half-life, reduce immunogenicity, and enhance drug delivery.
