Storage

The kit is shipped at ambient temperature (10-30°C) and should be stored at 2-8°C for long-term storage. Keep away from heat or direct sunlight. Once opened, the microtiter plate strips remain stable until the expiry date of the kit, provided they are stored at 2-8°C in a tightly sealed pouch. The kit must not be frozen under any circumstances. Please do not freeze any part of the kit.

General Description

Palivizumab is a therapeutic biologic used in research studies involving immune regulation, inflammatory pathways, oncology, hematology, metabolic disorders, or other target-specific biological processes, depending on its mechanism of action. Quantification of circulating free palivizumab may be useful in studies evaluating biological drug exposure, pharmacokinetics, immunogenicity, and target engagement. This kit is intended for the quantitative determination of free palivizumab in biological samples. The assay is based on a ligand-binding principle and selectively detects drug molecules capable of binding to RSV F protein. As a result, the assay measures biologically available free drug and does not specifically quantify drug molecules that have lost target-binding activity. This kit is intended for research use only.
