This product (Catalog No. CABT-CS26002) is a mouse-derived monoclonal antibody raised against norovirus Norovirus NS4. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Norovirus NS4 is a nonstructural protein encoded by the Norovirus genome, which plays a role in viral replication and host cell manipulation. It is one of several nonstructural proteins (NS1–NS7) produced during viral polyprotein processing. NS4 has been implicated in altering host intracellular membranes to form replication complexes and may modulate host cell signaling pathways to favor viral replication. It is sometimes referred to as p22 in the literature. Although its precise molecular mechanisms are still under investigation, NS4 is considered important for efficient Norovirus replication and virus-host interactions.
CABT-CS26002 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:3,000–1:15,000), IF (immunofluorescence) (1:500–1:1,000), ELISA (1:5,000–1:10,000) applications.
CABT-CS26002 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 100mM Tris Glycine, 30% Glycerol (pH7). 0.025% ProClin 300 was added as a preservative. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
