Creative Diagnostics is providing high sensitivity ELISA kits for peptide drugs detection.

These kits are used for detecting drug residues in serum and plasma and have been widely used in vitro pharmacokinetics testing in drug development processes and research.

Our ELISA kits are competitive immunoassays. The antiserum is captured by antibodies coated on a 96-well plate. A constant concentration of biotinylated tracer and varying concentrations of unlabeled standard or sample peptide compete for binding specifically to the antiserum. Captured biotinylated tracer is subsequently bound by SA-HRP (streptavidin-conjugated horseradish peroxidase), which produces a soluble colored product after a substrate is added.

Liraglutide is an analog of human GLP-1 and acts as a GLP-1 receptor agonist. The peptide precursor of liraglutide, produced by a process that includes expression of recombinant DNA in Saccharomyces cerevisiae, has been engineered to be 97% homologous to native human GLP-1 by substituting arginine for lysine at position 34. Liraglutide is made by attaching a C-16 fatty acid (palmitic acid) with a glutamic acid spacer on the remaining lysine residue at position 26 of the peptide precursor.

Lixisenatide is a glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonist used in the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). It is sold under the brand name Adlyxin by Sanofi-Aventis. Adlyxin recieved FDA approval July 28, 2016.

Nafarelin is a potent synthetic agonist of gonadotropin-releasing hormone with 3-(2-naphthyl)-D-alanine substitution at residue 6. Nafarelin has been used in the treatments of central precocious puberty and endometriosis.

Atosiban is an inhibitor of the hormones oxytocin and vasopressin. It is used as an intravenous medication as a labour repressant (tocolytic) to halt premature labor. Although initial studies suggested it could be used as a nasal spray and hence would not require hospital admission, it is not used in that form. It was developed by Ferring Pharmaceuticals in Sweden and first reported in the literature in 1985.

Deslorelin acetate is an injectable gonadotropin releasing hormone super-agonist also known as an LHRH agonist. It stops the production of sex hormones.

Ganirelix is an injectable competitive gonadotropin-releasing hormone antagonist (GnRH antagonist). It is primarily used in assisted reproduction to control ovulation. The drug works by blocking the action of GnRH upon the pituitary, thus rapidly suppressing the production and action of LH and FSH. Ganirelix is used in fertility treatment to prevent premature ovulation that could result in the harvesting of eggs that are too immature to be used in procedures such as in vitro fertilisation.

Humanin (HN) is the first member of a new class of small signaling peptides that originate from the mitochondrial genome. First discovered as a neuroprotective molecule that protected neurons against amyloid-beta toxicity, it has additionally been shown to have anti-apoptotic and cytoprotective properties.

Lecirelin is a synthetic GnRH (gonadotropin releasing hormone) analogue which shows a great efficacy in the treatment of bovine ovarian follicular cysts. Sequence: {Glp}-His-Trp-Ser-Tyr-Val-Leu-Arg-Pro.

Leuprolide belongs to the general class of drugs known as hormones or hormone antagonists. It is a synthetic 9 residue peptide analog of gonadotropin releasing hormone. Leuprolide is used to treat advanced prostate cancer. It is also used to treat uterine fibroids and endometriosis. Leuprolide is also under investigation for possible use in the treatment of mild to moderate Alzheimer's disease.

Triptorelin is a synthetic decapeptide agonist analog of luteinizing hormone releasing hormone (LHRH). Possessing greater potency than endogenous LHRH, triptorelin reversibly represses gonadotropin secretion. After chronic, continuous administration, this agent effects sustained decreases in LH and FSH production and testicular and ovarian steroidogenesis. Serum testosterone concentrations may fall to levels typically observed in surgically castrated men.
