General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DMABB-JX127) is a mouse-derived monoclonal antibody raised against ferret Ferret IL-12p40. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Interleukin 12 p40 subunit (IL-12p40) is a component of the bioactive cytokines IL-12 and IL-23. Existing in either a monomeric or homodimeric form, it is induced in excess of the other subunits of IL-12 and IL23. Most known for providing negative feedback by competing for the IL-12 receptor, it also functions as a chemoattractant for macrophages and is associated with several pathogenic inflammatory responses. DMABB-JX127 is suitable for use in ELISA(Cap) application. DMABB-JX127 is supplied as a lyophilized formulation in Lyophilized from PBS, trehalose. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
