Product Overview
A DNA sequence encoding the extracellular domain (Met 1-Ile 525) of the influenza A H10N3 hemagglutinin (A/duck/Hong Kong/786/1979 (H10N3)) (BAF46762.1) (HA1+HA2, uncleaved) was fused with a C-terminal polyhistidine tag.
Molecular Weight
The secreted recombinant influenza A H10N3 HA (A/duck/Hong Kong/786/1979 (H10N3)) comprises 519 amino acids and has a predicted molecular mass of 57.8 kDa. As a result of glycosylation, it migrates as an approximately 60-65 kDa band in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.
Endotoxin
< 1.0 EU per μg of the protein as determined by the LAL method
Purity
> 95 % as determined by SDS-PAGE
Format
Lyophilized from sterile PBS, pH 7.41. Normally 5 % - 8 % trehalose, mannitol and 0.01% Tween80 are added as protectants before lyophilization.
Storage
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -70°CStore it under sterile conditions at -20°C to -80°C. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
