Introduction
Thyroid-Stimulating Hormone (TSH), a pivotal biomarker in cats, occupies a central role in regulating the delicate balance of feline metabolic function. Structurally, TSH is a glycoprotein hormone consisting of two subunits, alpha and beta. Its production is orchestrated by the anterior pituitary gland in response to dynamic cues from the hypothalamic-pituitary-thyroid (HPT) axis.
