General Notes

This product (Catalog No. DMAB-CPT761) is a rabbit-derived monoclonal antibody raised against human TJP2. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Tight junction protein 2 (TJP2), or ZO-2, is a protein-coding gene (607709 - OMIM) that acts as a scaffold at tight junctions in epithelial and endothelial cells, linking transmembrane proteins like claudins to the actin cytoskeleton. Mutations in TJP2 cause severe, early-onset progressive familial intrahepatic cholestasis type 4 (PFIC4) and, rarely, adult-onset deafness. It is crucial for maintaining intercellular barrier function in the liver and other organs.
DMAB-CPT761 is suitable for use in Cytometric Bead Array (0.625-20 ng/mL) application.
DMAB-CPT761 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS only. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
