General Notes

This product (Catalog No. DMAB-CPT1151) is a rabbit-derived monoclonal antibody raised against human TFF1. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. TFF1 (Trefoil factor 1, formerly known as pS2) is a small-secreted protein that belongs to the family of trefoil peptides, and characterized by the presence of one to six cysteine-rich P domains. TFF1 expression is frequently lost in gastric carcinoma, probably through mechanism of DNA methylation, and it is therefore considered as a tumor suppressor gene. The function of TFF1 was first controversially considered as an oncogene in breast cancer.
DMAB-CPT1151 is suitable for use in Sandwich ELISA (31.25-2000 pg/mL) application.
DMAB-CPT1151 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS only. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
