General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DMAB-CBAS101) is a mouse-derived monoclonal antibody raised against human SLURP1. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. SLURP1 (Secreted Ly6/uPAR-related protein 1) is an immunomodulatory protein that plays important roles in skin development, inflammation regulation, and cancer suppression. It acts primarily by binding to nicotinic acetylcholine receptors, especially α7-nAChR, as well as other receptors like EGFR and PDGFRα. SLURP1 inhibits neutrophil adhesion and migration, suppresses pro-inflammatory cytokine production, and modulates keratinocyte differentiation. Mutations in the SLURP1 gene cause Mal de Meleda, a rare autosomal recessive skin disorder characterized by palmoplantar keratoderma. In cancer, SLURP1 demonstrates antiproliferative and anti-migration effects on lung adenocarcinoma cells by downregulating the PI3K/AKT/mTOR signaling pathway. Additionally, SLURP1 has been shown to prevent inflammation-induced proliferation in intestinal epithelial cells by modulating NF-κB expression and reversing LPS-induced inflammatory responses.
DMAB-CBAS101 is suitable for use in ELISA(Cap) application.
DMAB-CBAS101 is supplied as a liquid formulation in Phosphate-buffered saline (PBS), carrier-free, with optional 0.09% sodium azide. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
