The Magic™ Rabbit Anti-Human MTAP Monoclonal Antibody (clone 351141B4, product code DMAB-CPT456) is a rabbit monoclonal antibody specifically directed against human MTAP (Methylthioadenosine Phosphorylase). MTAP is a key metabolic enzyme involved in the methionine salvage and polyamine metabolism pathways, catalyzing the conversion of methylthioadenosine into adenine and 5-methylthioribose-1-phosphate, thereby contributing to cellular methylation balance and metabolic regulation. This antibody is designed for the specific detection of human MTAP and is supplied in an unconjugated format suitable for immunoassay development. This product is validated for use in Cytometric Bead Array (CBA, detection format) as part of a matched antibody pair system. The recommended pairing is DMAB-CPT455 (capture) with DMAB-CPT456 (detection), enabling sensitive sandwich immunoassay detection with a working range of 0.625–20 ng/mL. It is suitable for quantitative detection of MTAP in biological samples and optimized for robust CBA-based immunodetection workflows requiring high specificity and sensitivity. DMAB-CPT456 is a rabbit IgG monoclonal antibody purified using Protein A affinity chromatography and supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS only. Each vial contains 100 μg of purified antibody.
