The Magic™ Rabbit Anti-Human MTAP Monoclonal Antibody (clone 351141B8, product code DMAB-CPT455) is a rabbit monoclonal antibody specifically directed against human MTAP (Methylthioadenosine Phosphorylase). MTAP is a key enzyme in the polyamine metabolism and methionine salvage pathway, where it catalyzes the phosphorylation of methylthioadenosine to adenine and 5-methylthioribose-1-phosphate, thereby contributing to cellular methylation balance and metabolic homeostasis. This antibody is designed for the specific detection of human MTAP and is supplied in an unconjugated format suitable for immunoassay development.
This product is validated for use in Cytometric Bead Array (CBA, capture format) as part of a matched antibody pair system. The recommended pairing is DMAB-CPT455 (capture) with DMAB-CPT456 (detection), enabling sensitive sandwich immunoassay detection with a working range of 0.625–20 ng/mL. It is suitable for quantitative detection of MTAP in biological samples and optimized for robust CBA-based immunodetection workflows requiring high specificity and sensitivity.
