General Description
MMP-8 (Matrix Metalloproteinase-8) belongs to the family of matrix metalloproteinases and is also known as neutrophil collagenase or neutrophil elastase. MMP-8 plays an important role in the inflammatory process, as it can break down collagen and elastin, and participate in tissue repair and regeneration. However, overexpression of MMP-8 can lead to pathological conditions such as arthritis, myocardial infarction, Alzheimer's disease and other diseases. Therefore, MMP-8 is considered an important target for the treatment and prevention of inflammation and related diseases. The expression of MMP-8 can also serve as a biomarker for the diagnosis and prognosis of certain diseases.
Standard Curve
This product has been tested by Quality Control Department and meets performance specifications mentioned in the manual. (The humidity in the laboratory is 20%-60%, and the temperature is 18°C - 25°C. TMB was balanced to 37°C before color development, and incubated at 37°C for 15 minutes in the dark after adding the enzyme label plate holes.)
The following assay data are provided for reference, since experimental environment and operation are different. The establishment of standard curve depends on your own assay.
