This product (Catalog No. CABT-L1589W) is a mouse-derived monoclonal antibody raised against human HCRTR1. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human HCRTR1 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. HCRTR1 (hypocretin receptor type 1) is a Gq-coupled seven-transmembrane GPCR that selectively binds orexin-A and, with lower affinity, orexin-B to trigger phospholipase C–IP₃–Ca²⁺ signaling. Highly expressed in hypothalamic, limbic and brain-stem nuclei, it stabilizes wakefulness, modulates reward and feeding, and mediates stress responses; antagonists are being developed for insomnia and obesity therapy, while agonists may counteract narcolepsy.
CABT-L1589W is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:10,000) application.
CABT-L1589W is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS (without Mg2+ and Ca2+), pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
