General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DMAB-CPT821) is a rabbit-derived monoclonal antibody raised against human GNA12. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. GNA12 is a protein-coding gene in humans that encodes the guanine nucleotide-binding protein subunit alpha-12 (Gα12), a member of the heterotrimeric G protein alpha family specifically within the G12/13 subfamily. Located on chromosome 7p22.3-p22.2, it produces a 381-amino-acid protein involved in transducing signals from G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs) to downstream effectors, primarily by activating small GTPases like RhoA through guanine nucleotide exchange factors (GEFs) such as ARHGEF1, ARHGEF11, and ARHGEF12. This gene exhibits ubiquitous expression across tissues, with particularly high levels in the placenta and ovary, and is localized to the cytoplasm, lateral plasma membrane, neuron projections, and neuronal cell bodies.
DMAB-CPT821 is suitable for use in Cytometric Bead Array (0.625-20 ng/mL) application.
DMAB-CPT821 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS only. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
