This product (Catalog No. DMAB-CBAS035) is a mouse-derived monoclonal antibody raised against human FGF2. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. FGF2, also known as basic fibroblast growth factor, is a key regulator of cellular function in various tissues. It binds and activates FGF receptors, primarily through the RAS-MAPK pathway, to regulate processes like cell proliferation, migration, differentiation, and angiogenesis. FGF2 has been implicated in a number of diseases and pathological conditions. It plays an important role in wound healing and tissue engineering, but its overexpression can also lead to cellular overgrowth and malignancy. DMAB-CBAS035 is supplied as a liquid formulation in Phosphate-buffered saline (PBS), carrier-free, with optional 0.09% sodium azide. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
