General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DMAB-CPT784) is a rabbit-derived monoclonal antibody raised against human DGAT2. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Diacylglycerol acyltransferase 2 (DGAT2) is an integral membrane protein and major enzyme that catalyzes the final step of triacylglycerol (TG) synthesis in eukaryotes (PMID: 21680734). DGAT2 is present in mitochondria-associated membranes, specialized domains of the ER that are highly enriched in lipid synthetic enzymes (PMID: 19049983). DGAT2 isoforms (39 kDa, 44kDa) have major differences in acyl-CoA substrate specificity toward erucoyl-CoA. DMAB-CPT784 is suitable for use in Cytometric Bead Array (3.13-100 ng/mL) application. DMAB-CPT784 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS only. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
