General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DMAB-CBAS017) is a mouse-derived monoclonal antibody raised against human CCL1. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. CCL1, also known as I-309, is a chemokine that plays a significant role in immune regulation and cancer progression. It primarily binds to the CCR8 receptor and is involved in the recruitment of various immune cells, including regulatory T cells (Tregs) and tumor-associated macrophages (TAMs), to the tumor microenvironment. CCL1 has been shown to promote angiogenesis, contributing to tumor growth and metastasis, particularly to lymph nodes. In adult T-cell leukemia and murine T cell lymphomas, CCL1 has been implicated in apoptosis resistance. Additionally, it stimulates proliferation and migration of bladder cancer cells. The chemokine's expression in lymph nodes facilitates metastasis of CCR8-expressing cancer cells, such as in malignant melanoma. Given its multifaceted roles in cancer progression, CCL1 and its receptor CCR8 are emerging as potential targets for cancer immunotherapy.
DMAB-CBAS017 is suitable for use in ELISA(Det) application.
DMAB-CBAS017 is supplied as a liquid formulation in Phosphate-buffered saline (PBS), carrier-free, with optional 0.09% sodium azide. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
