General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DMAB-CBXY26010) is a human-derived monoclonal antibody raised against coxsackievirus b Coxsackievirus B VLP. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Coxsackievirus B VLP (virus-like particle) is a non-infectious particle that structurally mimics the native virion of Coxsackievirus B but lacks viral genomic RNA. These particles are typically formed by the self-assembly of the viral capsid proteins VP1, VP2, VP3, and VP4, resulting in a structure that closely resembles the authentic virus in size and antigenic presentation. Because Coxsackievirus B VLPs display the native conformational epitopes of the viral capsid while being replication-deficient, they are widely used in vaccine research, immunological studies, and serological assay development. VLP-based approaches can efficiently induce neutralizing antibody responses and cellular immunity without the biosafety risks associated with live or attenuated viruses, making them promising candidates for prophylactic vaccines against Coxsackievirus B–associated diseases such as myocarditis, pancreatitis, and viral meningitis.

DMAB-CBXY26010 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS-Tris. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
