This product (Catalog No. CABT-CS26005) is a mouse-derived monoclonal antibody raised against chikv CHIKV E2. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Chikungunya virus (CHIKV) is an arthropod-borne alphavirus that causes Chikungunya fever, a re-emerging disease characterized by high fever, rash, and arthralgia. The E2 envelope glycoprotein is a structural protein that forms heterodimers with the E1 glycoprotein and is displayed on the viral surface as part of trimeric spike complexes. E2 is primarily responsible for receptor binding and host cell attachment, playing a key role in viral entry. As a major target of neutralizing antibodies, the E2 protein is widely used in serological diagnostics, vaccine development, and antiviral research.
CABT-CS26005 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), ELISA (1:1,000–1:2,000) applications.
CABT-CS26005 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
