Suitable for PK bridging ELISA. We recommend the following for sandwich ELISA (Capture - Detection): CABT-ZB190 - CABT-ZB191. Each laboratory should determine an optimum working titer for use in its particular application. Other applications have not been tested but use in such assays should not necessarily be excluded.
General Notes
This antibody binds specifically to Cetuximab. We recommend the following antibody pair to develop a pharmacokinetic (PK) bridging assay: CABT-ZB190 - CABT-ZB191. CABT-ZB190 is recommended for use as a capture antibody when paired with CABT-ZB191. Cetuximab (Erbitux) is a chimeric IgG1 monoclonal antibody. It is approved for the treatment of certain cancers, including metastatic colorectal cancer and head and neck squamous cell carcinoma. The drug works by binding to the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), blocking its activation and inhibiting tumor cell proliferation.
