General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DMAB-SC26004) is a mouse-derived monoclonal antibody raised against c. neoformans C. neoformans GXM. Cryptococcus neoformans is an opportunistic pathogenic yeast. Cryptococcus neoformans produces a well-developed polysaccharide capsule. The major capsular polysaccharide is glucuronoxylomannan, named GXM, which is an important contributor to the virulence of Cr. neoformans. GXM is antiphagocytic and poorly immunogenic, and acapsular strains have diminished virulence. DMAB-SC26004 is suitable for use in CLIA(Det), LFIA(Det) applications. DMAB-SC26004 is supplied as a liquid formulation in Tris-Gly. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
