General Notes
This antibody recognises Brentuximab in Western blots and direct ELISA. Brentuximab vedotin (Adcetris) is an antibody-drug conjugate consisting of a chimeric IgG1 monoclonal antibody linked to the cytotoxic agent monomethyl auristatin E (MMAE). It is approved for treating Hodgkin lymphoma and systemic anaplastic large cell lymphoma. The drug binds to CD30, a protein expressed on certain cancer cells, delivering the cytotoxic agent directly to induce cell death, while minimizing effects on healthy cells.
