This product (Catalog No. CABT-L1274W) is a human-derived monoclonal antibody raised against bovine Bos d 8. Bos d 8, also known as bovine casein, is a major milk allergen derived from Bos domesticus (cow). It represents the casein protein fraction of cow's milk, which accounts for approximately 80% of total milk protein content. Bos d 8 is a heat-stable, digestion-resistant phosphoprotein complex composed of several casein subtypes, including αS1-casein, αS2-casein, β-casein, and κ-casein. Due to its structural stability and abundance, Bos d 8 is a primary sensitizing allergen in cow's milk allergy (CMA), particularly in infants and young children, and is frequently used in component-resolved diagnostics (CRD) to assess persistent versus transient milk allergy.
CABT-L1274W is suitable for use in ELISA application.
CABT-L1274W is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
