General Notes
This antibody binds specifically to Atezolizumab. We recommend the following antibody pair to develop a pharmacokinetic (PK) bridging assay: CABT-ZB177 - CABT-ZB178. CABT-ZB178 is recommended for use as a detection antibody when paired with CABT-ZB177. Atezolizumab (Tecentriq) is a fully humanized IgG1 monoclonal antibody. It is approved for the treatment of various cancers, including non-small cell lung cancer and urothelial carcinoma. The drug works by inhibiting the programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1), preventing it from binding to the PD-1 receptor, thus restoring T cell activity and enhancing the immune response against tumor cells.
