Creative Diagnostics scientists are experts in allergen-specific Immunoglobulin G (IgG) testing. We have wide variety of testing techniques and technologies. We have a proven, proprietary IgG test process for allergen-specific Immunoglobulin G (IgG) in serum that we have optimized for early discovery, preclinical studies and diagnostics kit development. All allergen-specific IgG test results are validated in strict.
This is an antibody called allergen-specific immunoglobulin G (sIgG) that's involved in allergic reactions. It is present in the blood in great numbers and it belongs to the immune system's protective immune system of some allergens. Food allergies are frequently related with sIgG and sIgG is a widely used type III allergy marker.

It is sIgG's function in allergic disease mainly because it is anti-allergen binding, which prevents allergens from bind to B cells and trigger allergies. So too does sIgG in allergen-specific immunotherapy (AIT). When allergens are subcutaneously injected, the sIgG be induced to prevent the allergen from binding to IgE antibodies and producing allergic reactions.
sIgG level in allergic disease correlates with the severity of symptoms. For instance, in asthma patients, sIgG levels and asthma symptoms are associated. Further, sIgG is also commonly applied in the food allergy. A measured sIgG in blood allows us to know if someone has an allergic reaction to some food component. Immunoglobulin G that is specific to allergens is used for allergy diagnosis and treatment. Variation in its concentrations can reflect allergic response severity, and allergic symptoms can be relieved by sIgG levels management in immunotherapy.
Allergen-specific IgG test is test used to check the presence of IgG antibodies against allergens in serum. It's mostly employed to diagnose and monitor allergic diseases, particularly other forms of allergic reaction other than IgE-mediated type I reactions.
ELISA is one of the most commonly used methods for detecting allergen-specific IgG. ELISA can measure the IgG levels of specific allergens in serum. For instance, studies have used ELISA to detect 14 food allergen-specific IgG antibodies in the serum of 214 food allergy patients, revealing significant differences in the positivity rates for various allergens. It is also used to detect food allergen-specific IgG in serum samples from chronic urticaria patients and healthy controls.
