General Notes
This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL3942) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human ZNF611, targeting the amino acid region 1–151 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human ZNF611 from mouse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. ZNF611 (Zinc Finger Protein 611) is a member of the C2H2-type zinc finger protein family, which typically functions as a DNA-binding transcription factor involved in gene regulation. It is localized primarily to the nucleus and is predicted to participate in sequence-specific transcriptional control of target genes. Like many KRAB-associated zinc finger proteins, ZNF611 is thought to act mainly as a transcriptional repressor by recruiting corepressor complexes such as KAP1 (TRIM28), histone deacetylases, and other chromatin-modifying factors, leading to epigenetic silencing of target loci. Although the precise biological functions of ZNF611 remain poorly characterized, proteins in this family are commonly involved in regulating developmental programs, cell differentiation, and maintenance of genomic stability. Emerging genomic studies suggest that ZNF611 may contribute to broader regulatory networks affecting transcriptional repression and potentially disease-related gene expression changes, but its specific targets and pathways are still under investigation.
CABT-BL3942 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000) application.
CABT-BL3942 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
