This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL5996) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human ZC4H2. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. ZC4H2 (Zinc Finger C4H2-Type Containing) is an X-chromosome gene encoding a protein crucial for central nervous system development, specifically in cerebellum development and spinal cord patterning. Mutations in this gene cause ZC4H2-associated rare disorders (ZARD), including Wieacker-Wolff syndrome, characterized by severe intellectual disability, epilepsy, arthrogryposis (joint contractures), and muscle weakness.
CABT-BL5996 is suitable for use in ELISA, Western blot (WB), IHC applications.
CABT-BL5996 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS, pH 7.4 with 0.02% Sodium Azide. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
