General Notes
This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL5936) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human UBL7, targeting the amino acid region 51–150 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with UBL7 from mouse, rat, chicken, dog, pig, and cow. It has been affinity purified by protein A. UBL7, officially known as ubiquitin like 7, is a protein-coding gene in humans located on chromosome 15q24.1 that encodes a ubiquitin-like protein with both ubiquitin-like (UBL) and ubiquitin-associated (UBA) domains, enabling it to function as a regulator of the ubiquitin-proteasome system (UPS). This protein, also referred to as BMSC-UbP or TCBA1, exhibits ubiquitous expression but is particularly abundant in the testis and brain, where it plays critical roles in cellular protein homeostasis.
CABT-BL5936 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), IHC-P (1:100–1:500), IHC-F (1:100–1:500), IF (immunofluorescence) (1:100–1:500) applications.
CABT-BL5936 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
