General Notes
This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL3544) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human TCF20, targeting the amino acid region 480–650 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Transcription Factor 20 (TCF20) is a transcriptional activator that binds to the regulatory region of MMP3 and thereby controls stromelysin expression. It stimulates the activity of various transcriptional activators such as JUN, SP1, PAX6 and ETS1, suggesting a function as a coactivator (PMID: 10995766). The calculated molecular weight of TCF20 is 211 kDa, but due to extensive modifications (Glycosylation, Sumoylation. Phosphorylation), the observed molecular weight is about 250 kda.
CABT-BL3544 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000) application.
CABT-BL3544 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
