Storage
The microwell strips are stable in the room temperature away from sunlight for one year. Triple Sugar Iron (TSI) is stable at 2-8 °C away from sunlight for 1 year.
General Description
The genus Shigella belongs to the family Enterobacteriaceae and consists of four species: Shigella dysenteriae, Shigella flexneri, Shigella boydii, and Shigella sonnei. Shigella is one of the leading bacterial causes of diarrhea worldwide.
