General Notes
This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL5637) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human SIX5, targeting the amino acid region 221–320 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with SIX5 from mouse, rat, dog, cow, horse, and sheep. It has been affinity purified by protein A. The protein encoded by this gene is a homeodomain-containing transcription factor that appears to function in the regulation of organogenesis. This gene is located downstream of the dystrophia myotonica-protein kinase gene. Mutations in this gene are a cause of branchiootorenal syndrome type 2.
CABT-BL5637 is suitable for use in IHC-P (1:100–1:500), IHC-F (1:100–1:500), IF (immunofluorescence) (1:100–1:500), ICC/IF (1:100–1:500) applications.
CABT-BL5637 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
