This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL5610) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human SELS, targeting the amino acid region 1–189 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human SELS from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. SELS, also named as VIMP and SEPS1, plays an important role in the production of inflammatory cytokines and its expression is activated by endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress. It probably acts by serving as a linker between DERL1 and VCP. CABT-BL5610 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), IP (0.5-4.0 μg for 1.0-3.0 mg of total protein lysate), IHC (1:50–1:500) applications. CABT-BL5610 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
