General Notes

This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL5467) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human PTPLB, targeting the amino acid region 181–254 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with PTPLB from mouse. It has been affinity purified by protein A. The protein encoded by this gene can catalyze the third step (dehydration) in the conversion of long chain fatty acids to very long chain fatty acids. The encoded protein localizes to the endoplasmic reticulum membrane.
CABT-BL5467 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), IHC-P (1:100–1:500), IHC-F (1:100–1:500), IF (immunofluorescence) (1:100–1:500) applications.
