General Notes
This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL2545) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human MYCBP2, targeting the amino acid region 21–120 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with MYCBP2 from mouse, rat, dog, horse, and sheep. It has been affinity purified by protein A. This gene encodes an E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase and member of the PHR (Phr1/MYCBP2, highwire and RPM-1) family of proteins. The encoded protein plays a role in axon guidance and synapse formation in the developing nervous system. In mammalian cells, this protein regulates the cAMP and mTOR signaling pathways, and may additionally regulate autophagy. Reduced expression of this gene has been observed in acute lymphoblastic leukemia patients and a mutation in this gene has been identified in patients with a rare inherited vision defect.
CABT-BL2545 is suitable for use in ELISA (1:5,000–1:10,000) application.
CABT-BL2545 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
