General Notes
This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL2019) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human KCNS2, targeting the amino acid region 401–477 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with KCNS2 from mouse, rat, dog, pig, cow, horse, and sheep. It has been affinity purified by protein A. Predicted to enable potassium channel regulator activity. Predicted to be involved in action potential; potassium ion transmembrane transport; and regulation of potassium ion transmembrane transport. Predicted to be located in perinuclear region of cytoplasm and plasma membrane. Predicted to be part of voltage-gated potassium channel complex. Predicted to be active in membrane. CABT-BL2019 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000) application. CABT-BL2019 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
