General Description

Transmembrane activator & calcium modulator and cyclophilin ligand (CAML) interactor (TACI) is lymphocyte specific member^1,2 of the tumor necrosis factor-receptor superfamily³ and is expressed in B-lymphocytes and may act to regulate humoral immunity.⁴ TACI also serves as a receptor for B-cell activating factor of the TNF family (BAFF) and as a proliferation-inducing ligand (APRIL).⁵
