Introduction
An Influenza A virus (IAV) hemagglutinin (HA) blocking peptide is a synthetic peptide designed to specifically bind to the viral hemagglutinin protein and inhibit its interaction with host cell receptors. Hemagglutinin is a surface glycoprotein responsible for recognizing and attaching to sialic acid residues on the host cell membrane, a critical first step in viral entry.
