General Notes
This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL1806) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human HIST1H1T, targeting the amino acid region 1–206 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human HIST1H1T from mouse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Testis-specific histone variants facilitate histone to protamine exchange during maturation of spermatozoa. Three testis-specific histone variants are regulated in male germ cells including H1T, H1T2 and HILS1 (encoded by H1ST1H1T, H1T2 and HILS1 respectively).
CABT-BL1806 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:200–1:1,000), IHC (1:400–1:1,600), IF/ICC (1:400–1:1,600) applications.
CABT-BL1806 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
