General Notes
This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL4743) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human GLYATL1. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with GLYATL1 from mouse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. GLYATL1 (Glycine-N-Acyltransferase Like 1) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 11q12.1 that encodes an enzyme primarily expressed in the liver and kidney. It acts as an acyltransferase involved in detoxifying xenobiotic acyl-CoA and promoting glutamine metabolism. Decreased expression is associated with poor prognosis in cancers like renal cell carcinoma, while elevated levels are linked to therapeutic resistance in breast cancer. CABT-BL4743 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), IF (immunofluorescence) (1:50–1:200) applications. CABT-BL4743 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide, 50% glycerol, pH7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
