This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL4724) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human GDF10. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with GDF10 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. This gene encodes a secreted ligand of the TGF-beta (transforming growth factor-beta) superfamily of proteins. Ligands of this family bind various TGF-beta receptors leading to recruitment and activation of SMAD family transcription factors that regulate gene expression. The encoded preproprotein is proteolytically processed to generate each subunit of the disulfide-linked homodimer. This promotes neural repair after stroke. Additionally, this protein may act as a tumor suppressor and reduced expression of this gene is associated with oral cancer. CABT-BL4724 is suitable for use in IHC (1:100–1:200) application. CABT-BL4724 is supplied as a liquid formulation in pH7.4 PBS, 0.05% sodium azide, 40% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
