Q: Before going any further, we wanted to make sure lab level 2 are suitable for using your kits since I see some of them use the toxins or the virus as capture. Can you please confirm that the toxins do not pose any risks for the kits?
A: DEIA05524: Corynebacterium diphtheriae IgG: Microtiterstrip wells are precoated with inactivated specific Corynebacterium diphtheriae toxin (toxoid) antigens. The product is non-infectious, but please note that it still needs to be handled and processed according to the protocol for handling biohazardous contaminants. It can be used in a BSL2 laboratory.
