General Notes

This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL4433) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human CSGALNACT1. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with CSGALNACT1 from mouse. It has been affinity purified by protein A. This gene encodes an enzyme that transfers N-acetylglucosamine (GalNAc) to the core tetrasaccharide linker and to elongating chondroitin sulfate chains in proteoglycans. Knockout of the orthologous mouse gene indicates that the protein is necessary for normal cartilage development and aggrecan metabolism. Mutations in this gene are associated with multiple sclerosis progression, and with mild skeletal dysplasia and joint laxity.
CABT-BL4433 is suitable for use in IHC (1:50–1:100) application.
CABT-BL4433 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS (without Mg2+ and Ca2+), pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
