This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL1044) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human CENPN. It has been affinity purified by protein A. The protein encoded by this gene forms part of the nucleosome-associated complex and is important for kinetochore assembly. It is bound to kinetochores during S phase and G2 and recruits other proteins to the centromere. Pseudogenes of this gene are located on chromosome 2. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants that encode different protein isoforms. CABT-BL1044 is suitable for use in IHC (1:100–1:300) application. CABT-BL1044 is supplied as a liquid formulation in pH7.4 PBS, 0.05% sodium azide, 40% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
