General Notes
This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL1015) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human CDC42BPA. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with CDC42BPA from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the serine/threonine protein kinase family. This kinase contains multiple functional domains. Its kinase domain is highly similar to that of the myotonic dystrophy protein kinase (DMPK). This kinase also contains a Rac interactive binding (CRIB) domain, and has been shown to bind CDC42. It may function as a CDC42 downstream effector mediating CDC42 induced peripheral actin formation, and promoting cytoskeletal reorganization. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants have been described. CABT-BL1015 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), IHC (1:30–1:150) applications. CABT-BL1015 is supplied as a liquid formulation in pH7.4 PBS, 0.05% sodium azide, 40% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
