General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-10527) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human ZNF557, targeting the amino acid region 76–376 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. ZNF557 (zinc finger protein 557) is a member of the C2H2-type zinc finger protein family, which typically functions as DNA-binding transcriptional regulators. Like many zinc finger proteins, ZNF557 is predicted to contain multiple zinc finger motifs that enable sequence-specific interaction with genomic DNA, suggesting a role in the regulation of gene expression. It is encoded in the human genome and is thought to participate in transcriptional control processes, potentially influencing cell differentiation or development. However, similar to many less-characterized zinc finger proteins, the precise biological function, target genes, and disease relevance of ZNF557 remain largely unelucidated and require further experimental validation.
DPABH-10527 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:1,000), IF/ICC (1:10–1:100) applications.
DPABH-10527 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
