General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-10521) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human ZNF385A, targeting the amino acid region 76–172 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human ZNF385A from mouse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. ZNF385A (Zinc Finger Protein 385A), also known as HZF (hematopoietic zinc finger), is an RNA-binding protein that contains C2H2-type zinc finger domains and plays a role in post-transcriptional gene regulation. Unlike many zinc finger proteins that primarily bind DNA, ZNF385A preferentially interacts with RNA and is involved in modulating mRNA stability and translation. It has been shown to function in the p53 signaling pathway, where it can influence the expression of p53 target genes involved in cell cycle arrest and apoptosis. ZNF385A is expressed in multiple tissues, with notable roles in hematopoietic and neuronal contexts. Through its regulatory effects on RNA metabolism, it contributes to cellular stress responses, differentiation, and maintenance of genomic integrity. Dysregulation of ZNF385A has been implicated in cancer and other diseases, although its full range of biological functions is still being investigated.
DPABH-10521 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), IHC (1:50–1:500), IF/ICC (1:200–1:800) applications.
DPABH-10521 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
