General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-24151) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human ZNF124, targeting the amino acid region 84–351 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. ZNF124 (Zinc Finger Protein 124) is a member of the C2H2-type zinc finger protein family that functions as a DNA-binding transcription factor involved in gene expression regulation. It is localized in the nucleus and is predicted to act primarily as a transcriptional repressor through recruitment of chromatin-modifying complexes such as KAP1/TRIM28 and histone deacetylases, leading to epigenetic silencing of target genes. Like many KRAB-associated zinc finger proteins, ZNF124 is thought to participate in regulating developmental processes, cellular differentiation, and maintenance of genomic stability. Although its specific target genes and biological pathways remain incompletely characterized, it is believed to function within broader transcriptional regulatory networks that control cell identity and proliferation. Overall, ZNF124 is considered an epigenetic transcriptional regulator, but its precise physiological roles and disease relevance require further experimental investigation.
DPABH-24151 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:4,000), IP (0.5-4.0 μg for 1.0-3.0 mg of total protein lysate), IHC (1:20–1:200), IF/ICC (1:10–1:100) applications.
DPABH-24151 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
